It is best that you are an experienced hanedlr, preferably with dogs that are strong willed(stubborn) and dominate. If you do not believe you will be able to handle a strong dog or a dog that takes a lot of work to handle then neither of these breeds are right for you. Aside from the mental aspect of these breeds you have to think about exercise, grooming and other care. Make sure you can provide each with the daily exercise they will need. The Akita is a breed that is on the dangerous’ dog list-some insurance companies will not support them and some apartments/rental homes do not allow them. Research each breed and make sure they’re the correct breed for you-then either look for a breed rescue or reputable breeder. I don’t think either breed will be good for you at this point in time. Maybe later on.
